    Publishing Full Trust Forms

Ok, I've searched and I've searched and my google-fu just isn't pulling up a result, and I'm hoping that someone on here can help me out with this next step.

I first started doing infopath using rules, but I've found that it's cumbersome to maintain versus code and in some ways less flexible, so I am in the process of migrating over to C# code. I want publish a form with full trust, and I've done the steps that I've seen pretty much in every link (examples: here, here, here, etc.). All the articles I've seen on the topic all seem to stop at that final step of activating the form template, and I'm confused on how to go forward from here. What I can't seem to figure out how to do is create a form library from my new administrator approved form. If I go to create, form library, the document template dropdown box only has Microsoft InfoPath Form, and if I check advanced settings on the newly created form library, I see a template specified there. Clicking edit template takes me to infopath designer with a new form. If I try and specify the URL of the form template from the forms template library, I get a message "Invalid template URL.

The template must exist in the Forms directory of this document library. Create the template in the Forms directory, and then re-type the Web address. Note that you cannot move or copy a template into the Forms directory.

So, I thought I'd try and be clever (despite the error message *cough cough, ok, I admit it, I only read the first part of the error message before proceeding to this next step cough* *blush* ), open both the Form Templates library in explorer view and the form library I created in explorer view, and copy my .xsn into the new library. No error, but no matter what I do, opening the form from the newly created form library forces it open in the filler. Pretty sure the verbiage of the original error "Note that you cannot move or copy a template into the Forms directory" is covering this issue, because If I open the form from the form templates library it opens in the browser just fine. Since no search result that I can find is covering the step(s) on how to do this, I am coming to the conclusion that it's something super obvious, but also way above my head. If anyone has any insight here, I'd greatly appreciate it. My growing fear is that you have to open administrator approved templates from the form templates library, rather than allowing them to have their own form library, and I think that would break my heart. I love the "+ Add Document"/New document in the ribbon that opens a new blank form functionality that form libraries have when created via the wizard in InfoPath. Plus, depending on the number of templates that could be in that library, it could be a hassle.

update: I did find this article which covers SP 2007, and it gets me really close to where I want to be. The New Document button in the ribbon pulls up a new form. The "+ Add Document" link, however pulls up an upload box. Does anyone know of a way to work around that/set the action for the "+ Add document" link, or is there an updated procedure on how to do this for SP 2010 so it's done correctly? Thank you in advance for any help you may be able to offer here.
