It is me again to trouble you, Hilary.

I could not use CopyTable cause some of my source fields are blank.

I tried to follow www.infopathdev.com/.../entry58577.aspx and I have some questions with it.

Can i use Count by adding one field to form without using secondary XML(View Options)?

I tried like that and Insert row to main repeating sections by Count field works.

But I am facing problem to set ID field and then I can't set other filelds in my main repeating sections. (my filtered/queried sharepoint list rows are not with ID in order)

Kindly help me how should I do to work my form.

I am sorry if my questions are confusing you cause of my poor English.

You might be able to use CopyTable, depending on if your data structures match. You can find samples in the downloads section of this forum:

Thanks a lot Hilary.

I am not expert in coding and I am now in qRules 7.2 trial.

After retrieving sharepoint list rows, querying based on one dropdown listbox field, to infopath repeating sections, I also want to edit it and submit back to sharepoint list.

I found i can use qRules SubmitToSharePointList command for that.

But I don't know which qRules command i should use to get multiple sharepoint list rows to infopath repeating sections.

Can I use CopyTable command?

Please kindly reply me.

You'll need code (or qRules) for this - InfoPath has nothing built in for copying repeating data. You can also use default data settings and some form logic - you have to default the number of rows to the max you think you'd ever need, so it leaves your XML a little messy. :)

I am very new to infopath and sharepoint.

Even that is a rather old blog, let me ask a question with it.

It is possible to query to get multiple sharepoint list rows to infopath repeating sections(one list row for one section) based on dropdown field change.
