You preview the form (or publish it out for your users) and it seems like no matter where you click on the form the whole form is selected, highlighted blue? This is, after all, pretty much an aesthetic issue

re: A Cure for the Blues

I know that the binding to a random field is ... bothersome. However, it does prevent the event bubbling that turns things blue. Generally, I grab everything inside my offending section, move it to a different area of the form, rebind the section, then copy the controls back in -- usually that prevents the unbinding issue....

My question is now - why should I need to bind the main section to some random field (you bound yours to field2)? Also, when I change the binding of the main section, all the contained controls lose their bindings which will take me forever to fix up - it there a way round this?

Does this mean I need to add another section to enclose the optional section?

In your cure, all the fields show blue icon and the message about storing duplicate data - is that not a problem?

Thanks for any help
