  • Re: Saving Secondary Data

I'm trying to copy data from a sharepoint list to a repeating table in an infopath form so that it can be viewed when not connected to the sharepoint list at the click of a button. I've never really done much with infopath before (none with 2007) so any pointers would be appreciated. The following...

I'm fairly new to InfoPath and have run into a problem on a form I'm trying to build. The form is hosted on SharePoint and will be used by employees to submit a request for a new team site to be created. Within the form there are repeating tables with drop downs to select employees to be designated...

  • Re: Saving a field back to a data a source(Access)

When I add /dfs:myFields/my:DetailID as the filter my default value is removed on the NOW_ETC_HRS field. I have it getting its value from the NOW_ETC_HRS_USER_INPUT_TOTAL field. My DetailID value is correct. I think /dfs:myFields/my:DetailID is the right syntax but I do not know why the default value...

I am trying to get a Total Line (NOW_ETC_HRS_USER_INPUT_TOTAL) from a Repeating table and update one row (NOW_ETC_HRS) that has Summary information for the same Control Account record on an Access database table. I already added the filter and tried to copy it but I still must be missing something or have the wrong syntax. The filter value comes from a data source so I used the following as the filters... ../../dfs:dataFields/d:LaborSummary/[@AUTONUMBER] or my:DetailId - I set this value to @AUONUMBER when I...

With the Database Accelerator, I could do more things without code? Would I need to redo my form? If I need to code, I would like to get one good example of how to do it. I could do most things myself if I could start with some sample code and some help putting it together.

Do you mean this posting below? Where do you find the manifest.xsf file? If I need to code...do you have an example? I need to update the row in the table that matches the autonumber field(key). I can update the same field on the form that is not part of the repeatig table and it works fine. But I need...
