Using Form Content Type with IP 2003

If I add a new Form Content Type to a Document Library in WSS 3.0, can I use this with InfoPath 2003? if so how? According to the MSDN documentation, the Form Content Type was created so that a Document Libary could contain Forms and other documents, but I can't figure out how to make this work....
