I have an IP2010 Library Form with code behind it that uses a button to populate individual rows within a repeating table in SP2010.

It basically does this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFqvKbKp9r0

I have a secondary connection that is populating its own repeating table of Events (from a secondary sharepoint list) based on the ID that a SharePoint List Filter web part is sending to this secondary connection. Once the first repeating table is populated with the events, I then have a button on each row of the repeating table that the user can push and will send it to another repeating table based on the main connection (SharePoint Form Library). I can get all of my rows to properly populate the repeating table, but when i submit the form, it will only submit the first line of my repeating table as viewable within my Form Library (yes, i know you can do the merge function, but that doesn't solve the issue).

I'm in need to have the repeating table submit each line it is populated with as an individual record within the SharePoint Form Library. I have no issues when I submit repeating tables within a SharePoint List, but it doesn't seem to default the same within a SharePoint Library.

Anyone know of a solution for this? Thank you!

Possible Problems when updating published template

Hi all,

I am currently working on a project, which is already running productive. I have some questions which I think maybe helpfull to other users as well

1. The form is already published. But new requirements rise every day, so I the template is being updated/changed almost every week. In the form options I have selected "update forms automatically", which should update all the existing forms in the library. Up to know I am pleased with the result but I see there are a lot of issues related to this topic.

2. From experience I know that when the template is changed, fields should not change names, nor should be deleted or moved within the schema. I know also that adding field, formatting and altering rules is not a problem, and all the existing forms are updated. What about adding a field whithin a repeating table? Would it be ok as well? My opinion is yes but I hope someone else can back me up.

3. When archiving ( i mean simply taking the forms down form the SP library to a the network driver) and a change on the template has taken place. And I need later to open some archived field, will it be able to open (pointing to the right location, but the form is not the same version)?

I will be very glad if someone shares his knowledge about this questions.

Regards,

I have the following problem. I have a repeating table in my form which is populated by a sharepoint library. I have applied some conditional formating to filter only the data which is necessary. In addition I have a button which creates a new form in the sharepoint library(the same where the repeating table reads from). After this form is saved, it is submitted to the library.

Currently my main form is reading the library olny once when it opens. So if I close and open the form one more time, the already created form (in the library where the repeating table reads from) is recognized. What is my aim, is with another button and code, to refresh the view in the repeating table so that it reads the actual state of the sharepoint library. Does anybody have Ideas how can I accomplish it?

Best regards,

I am using Infopath 2007, does this code works for Infoptah 2007 too.

I have a bit tricky situation. Let me explain you the problem statement once more in detail.

I have 2 forms Libraries A & B. In LIBRARY-A I have main forms with 6 views. For each form in LIB-A I have n # forms with more than 200 fields in LIBRARY-B. In a print view of LIB-A I want to get all the forms from LIB-B and show at once.

The Schema in LIB-B forms and LIB-A forms(print view) is exactly same with groups/field name etc. Is this possible to copy the whole xml data/schema to another form. Otherwise I had to take out each and every data element form the form in LIB-B to LIB-A to show on the view. Even this approach is going to make my form very slow.

Has anyone tried this kind of thing before. Any suggestion is appreciated.
