I like to include a link to my form in my db tables - I use that link in reports at a later date.= I have been calculating this in the form. But, I need to unload/reload all my document types to upgrade DBXL from 2.3 and need to ensure that the URL stored in the DB is accurate.

I have gone into DBXL and instead of shredding my calculated value to the database I have shredded the value of DBXL::Link. (Thanks to James for telling me about this option - I missed it before.)

I have re-shredded all my documents, and this seems to work most of the time but not all the time.

I have pulled the Link and the DocID(shredded from DBXL::DocID) from the table in the database and I get some annomolies...

I am currently using DBXL2.3. I have several Document Types.

One Document Type I connected to Sharepoint during the beginning of the application roll out. During this time we created about 6 documents.

I then deleted the SharePoint mapping as I could acheive what was requested another way. The documents stayed in SharePoint form library, but 6 documents have continued to be used via DBXL/URLs.

The form library with the original 6 documents (which are now out of date) still exists although only accessible by me. I thought I would tidy up.

The SharePoint mapping in DBXL was deleted about 6 months ago. So I thought it would be ok to delete the documents in SharePoint, without deletion in DBXL. I have tried it with one of the documents and this is not the case. The DBXL document has been deleted - which is not what I wanted. In fact I am in a panic about how to retrieve/rebuild the data....

How can I delete the SharePoint form library without losing any more of my documents?

Is there any way of retrieving the data (I think I know the answer to that one.... but am asking out of desperation :))

Thank you

I have a question regarding the How to use full trust form templates document.

I have 3 full trust forms, and 3 document types for them.
I for each one I have set up a batch file to do the "DbxlPrepTemplate.exe Form1 http://<servername>/QdabraWebService "C:\Data\UnsignedForm.xsn" "C:\Data\readyForSigning.xsn" " each time the form is published.

Two of the forms work perfectly - I have worked with them for the last 6 months....

The third one (new) is giving me a problem.

I publish the unsigned form, an xsn called PreSampleRequests is created (I can open this form to design with no issue.) I run the batch file, an xsn called SampleRequests is created (in the same location). When I open SampleRequests intending to sign and republish it, I get the "This form template was published to one location and has been saved or moved to a different location. To ensure that forms based on this template work correctly, publish the template again" message

I have tried this >10 times, either using the batch file, or typing out the command manually and always the same. When I try and I sign the form republish and attach it to my Doctype it does not run corretly.

Do you have any ideas.

Thank you.
