Getting the InfoPath Form to open in web browser from Outlook notification email.

    Hello,

I have published my form to the SharePoint site and have gone through the assigning the workflow. My form will open up in a web browser from the SharePoint site, but once the notification has gone out through the workflow, I cannot get the form to open in the web browser from Outlook email, it wants to open it in InfoPath. Is there any way to get it to open in a web browser from the email notification?

    Thanks!

Wouldn't you know it -- as soon as I replied to your private message saying "I don't know", I think I found something that might help you. This article on MSDN suggests modifying the URL to include "open in browser". Perhaps instead of attaching the form to the email, you could include a link to it, and modify the link to include this parameter? From the article:

Enter the following URL, inserting actual values for the placeholder values:
    http://ServerName/sites/SiteCollection/FormLibrary/Form1.xml?OpenIn=Browser
    or
    http://ServerName/sites/SiteCollection/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?XmlLocation=~sitecollection/FormLibrary/Form1.xml&OpenIn=Browser
