Sending to email enabled document library

I wondered if anyone else has encountered this, if it's a known issue and if there is a workaround.

I have developed a browser enabled form that when submitted gets emailed to an address that is tied to a document library. So that users without permissions to the secure library can submit items but cannot read items in the library. If I open the form with the client it will email the document library and get stored in it like it should, however if I try submitted from the browser it never makes it to the document library. I think SharePoint isn't accepting it for some reason.

This is my first post so if this isn't the correct location to post this question please let me know.

    Thanks

    Brad

Browser forms use SharePoint to send the mail rather than the client?  Have you configured mail support on your SharePoint server?

Yes both outgoing and incoming settings are configured correctly. SharePoint sends alerts out like it should. I've tested it on two different servers with the same issue.

Have you tried changing the email submit to a different email address as a test?  To a user account?

Yes. It can successfully be emailed to normal user accounts. I found this link but no more information about it http://blogs.conchango.com/jonathanbradshaw/archive/2006/10/25/InfoPath-Form-Server-E_2D00_Mails-to-E_2D00_Mail-Enabled-Document-Libraries.aspx

It sounds like the same issue.
