Trying to create search capabilities by filtering data

    Hello,

I recently ran into a roadblock and need some expert advice!  I'm trying to create an InfoPath form that prompts the user for a search term, compares that term against the "Tag" field in a Sharepoint list, and returns all related records in a repeating section on the form.  I found Matt Faus's article on how to "Create a Multi-View Master/Detail using an InfoPath Data Filter" to be very helpful, but since the data connection I am using is "secondary" the filtering option in the repeating section is unavailable.  Are there any ways around this?  Can I somehow make the Sharepoint list the primary data connection?

    Many thanks in advance!

    Glenn

     PS - I'm running Sharepoint 2007 and InfoPath 2003

    Hello Welcome to the Forum,

Filter option is not available for secondary data connection. You have to change your data connection from secondary to main data source.
