InfoPath Dev

I am trying hard but in vain.

i have on my virtual development env. Webservice that connects to db to store data. I am calling this webservice in my Infopath 2003  for submit options.

Than i publised this infopath in form library in sharepoint on the same vpc.

Everything works fine as its all on LOCAL MACHINE.

now i need to move my webservice to sharepoint server , I dont know where to deploy this is their a particular folder on server, should move my folder which is currently at "C:\inetput\wwwrot\ws_reportservice on local machine"

And than how to get the url for dataconnection for my infopath once i deploy this folder.

Pls guide and help.

Here is the steps for installing webservice in SharePoint folder.

1. Open the IIS of machine in which you want to install web service.

2. Expand websites then you will find SharePoint - 80.

3. Right click on SharePoint - 80

4. Go to ‘New-> Virtual directory’. Then Virtual Directory creation wizard window will be opened.

5. Click ‘Next’ on that window and enter the name you want in ‘Alias’.

6. Click ‘Next’ and in the Path give the path where you have placed web service files.

 7. Click ‘Next’ and Check the check boxes.

8. Click ‘Next’ and finish the installation.
