    Form Template

I was wondering, how do I publish a form template so that when users go in to fill out the form (I guess they just click where i published it to) they are unable to change the form lay out. I guess im trying to ask how do you set a form template to be complete and unable to be changed.

    Hello:

For InfoPath 2007, go to Tools/Form Options/Advanced and select Enable Protection. That will disable the form customization commands on the tools menu. In IP2003 I think this is under Tools/Form Options/General.

I'm sorry, I'm confused. Do you mean this happened after you enabled protection? or do you mean you can't open it after publishing?

But prior to enabling protection, you did not get that error when you opened your published form? Enabling design protection shouldn't have caused a data connection error....
