Send a Text Message on a browser enabled form

    Hello,

I have designed a form that sends emails out in it's final stage, one of those being a text message.  It is fairly simple, it is just a matter of getting the domain correct.  All of my emails send fine on the client, but once I make it a browser enabled form, my text message is not sent to the phone.  Any thoughts?

I have not tested email submit with a browser based form but I had assumed that the email submit worked the same and that your local outlook would send the email.  Are you getting the send process from the browser form?  I am assuming you are using number@carrier.net or whatever to send the email to the phone.

Yes, I am sending my message to number@carrier.net, however I am certain that it doesn't use my local outlook as the sender because my form sends it to regular emails with a sharepoint@domain email adress.  I should mention that we run 3 email related servers here.  We have our Exchange Server that sends our email, we have a SharePoint Server, and we have a Symantec antispam/virus server that processes incoming and outgoing emails.  The obvious answer would be that our antispam server was shooting it down, but it logs incoming and outgoing emails and the phone number message doesn't appear in the logs.  Hopefully that will help...

Thank you so much for the solution!  I have posted what I did to make the situation work for me at the link that you provided.
