InfoPath Dev

I have a field that can be either Hours or Dollars.  The users first select the type using an option button and then they enter a number in a text box.    Is there a way to control the formating of the field based on what option they choose?

Been on Vacation and getting caught up, but if you have not gotten this yet.

I do not believe there is. Best practice would be to have two fields, one for each type and then use conditional formatting to hide one or the other depending on the option selected.
