Infopath Form in the Body of an email? Automate

    Ok,

I am trying to automate the "Send to amil recipient" process.

I want to have a button that when clicked will bring up the outlook drop down and maybe even automatically populate the To, CC, Subject fields.

Ive been looking around for help on this but cant seem to find anything.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Tom

Hey Tom. This is standard InfoPath functionality - you just need to know how.

Open Data Connections and create a new submit to email connection. The wizard will lead you through it and you can use fields and formulas to populate the fields.

You can then add a rule to a button to submit to this dataconnection.

That is true by default but InfoPath 2007 now gives you a choice of either method.

In 2003, If you go to file and send to

while completing an InfoPath form and email this way you will get the current view in the body of the form.

if you use code, to submit the email it is possible as well.

Those are kind of the options.
