When you copy text from a Rich Text box in InfoPath 2007 to another Rich Text box on a form, the pasted text is in a different font size than expected. We have worked with Microsoft on this issue and they have release a hotfix for it here: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/939605/.

Sometimes when I copy from a word document into the rich text box on my form the text color or font type changes. Do you think this hotfix will fix this problem as well?

This will not really fix that issue. That is a know issue and happens specifically when the text you're copying is inside a table cell. Then what technically happens is the select in Word does not pickup the trailing paragraph mark which contains the formatting information. This is actually a bug in Word and you will get similar behavior in other Office applications.

Is there a hotfix for Word? It happens quite often and sometimes other fields end up the inside the rich text box you pasted into. Then you also get this error message: This field contains characters that are not valid. The original content will be restored.
