Send email reminder to an expired form

I have an infopath form that contains date and time fields that need to be checked for expiry. I would like an email notification to be sent in case the date & time field entry matches the current date & time. In this case, the form would be expired. How do I achieve this? Any help is appreciated

SharePoint workflow is going to be the way to go, I think (or MS Flow if Office 365?) Start the workflow or Flow when the form is submitted and pause until the expiry date.

Thanks for the reply. I have done the following 1. Promoted the date field to a column in the SharePoint Form Library. This field/column is what determines whether the form is expired or not. 2. There is an existing approval form that works well. 3. Do I have to create a new workflow to pause until the expiry date (promoted date field) and will it conflict with the existing workflow? Or do I edit the current existing approval workflow to include the pause?
