Why Input fields choices different in different form templates

    Hi,

Can someone explain to me why I get different choices of available input fields depending on what template I choose?

If I choose blank template there are 27 available input field options when I choose a sharepoint list or library template there are only 16?

I am trying to create an online form to collect data which will be held in sharepoint which will use workflows to send emails and control approval flow between several parties. Obviously I would prefer to have as many options available to me when constructing the form, so is it possible to have full access to the 27 available input fields while using Infopath with Sharepoint or is there a good reason why it is more limited?

    Thanks

    Kenny

List forms are limited to the types available when you create a new column in a list. Regular forms have greater schema flexibility - however, there are still a few differences between browser & filler forms in what types of actions are available to you - I haven't checked control compatibility between browser & filler in a while, but there still may be controls available in filler that aren't in browser.
