Only Use Load Event on the first load

Hello, I have a form that uses a c# script to pull data from a database when it loads. It takes a couple of seconds and it only really needs to happen the first time the form is opened. How is best to say only perform the form load even on the first load?

I'd probably add a field in the main data source to track this - like a status field that defaults to blank, and your C# code can set it to "Not New" or something, then can check for that value prior to running.

Well - I replied THEN thought of this: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/ee527346.aspx - try checking the IsNew property. :)
