    Configuring InfoPath PeoplePicker

    Hello there,

I am using a people picker which works ok  but brings up some information (specifically Account Name) which I would like to suppress (I dont want Users seeing this as it reveals a User's login details). Does anyone know if there is any way to control which fields are displayed in the people picker? This is a field I subsequently need to access (via code-behind) but I just dont want it to be visible. All ideas welcome, thanks!

Instead of using the people picker you can use a repeating field and simply show the Display Name only.  This will work for the read-only case, but if you did want to make it editable you will need the Account ID.  Good luck!

Thanks, but I need to give Users the people picker option. Is there no way of accessing its fields and setting visibility?

As far as I know, there is no way to do this with the people picker control itself.  You would have to split up the fields into their own separate controls to do this.
