When I try to connect Infopath to a sqlserver datasource , it crashes. This happens on multiple PCs, including my brand new desktop. This crash is repeatable, and Microsoft is notified with a crash report. The datasource is a view in a SQLServer database. I can connect MS-Excel to the exact same datasource with no problem. Is this an Infopath bug? Is there a workaround or patch? THANKS
Fixed it myself by applying http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2203972
I forgot to mention, Infopath crashes while designing the form, last step in the create data connection dialog.
Can you insert your form?
I can save the form without the data connection.
I can't run it with the data connection to insert or do anything, because it crashes when creating the data connection.
It crashes in design mode. Repeatably.

Hi, to attach your form, when you reply click on option and select your XSN template...
I attached form but it is basically completely empty, since infopath crashes when I try to add the main data source.
Tried to attach data source, but wouldn't let me.
